I can't get over the amount of guns you had out and the football your team was still able to output with your bottom 10-20 players on your list. I think the loss of Bennell and Dixon will pale to the inclusions you'll have.

Is O'Meara fit and healthy now and set to start pre-season on day one?

the loss of dicko and bennell will be huge, their playing ability will dramatically increase whichever team they go to. they're a massive loss, but we'll have to see until the end of trade week to see if we can actually replace them.

not sure on o'meara. i think from memory he'll have started running around about now. hopefully by the start of the new year he'll be doing full training. will probably find out more when preseason actually starts i guess.

Jaegar is back on the Coast into training and rehab , way before the others get back.
 
Anyone else feeling grubby about the state of AFL free agency, I don't mind the players being able to find a beter home but the below things just make it feel dirty
  • Players nominating clubs after 2 years (Hello Aish)
  • Clubs can't trade contracted players but players can nominate clubs even to the detriment of their existing club
  • 12 months of lies about "I'm not sure" or "I just want to concentrate on footy" when they are signed sealed and delivered to another club
  • Clubs contacting and working out deals with contracted players, this is against the AFL rules but everyone does it
  • Club champions will become less and less prevalent, kids grow up idolizing a player at their club, the likelihood is he will end up chasing a flag at Hawthorn

It does feel dirty. As if loyalty was strong enough before all this. Now it is just ******

For the foreseeable future, but I intend to return to SEQ

And no it's certainly not you lying bastard :D

Looking at Balmain, Drummoyne and Lane Cove. But open to other options if people know the areas
