I actually think Mark Williams as an assistant, he is old school, passionate, premiership credential and renowned for development at Port, GWS, and currently at Richmond.Would sure be nice if we could land Hardwick as an assistant if he got the sack, doubt he would come at the price of Primus though

Senior coach with years of experience on building a team from a rabble, can't believe he wouldn't be an upgrade on what we have nowI can understand your thoughts on Primus but why would you want Hardwick?
Questionable whether it's an improvement in my opinion, but you certainly want to try lure successful talented people in the club. Who fits the bill for successful people in the footy landscape? I suspect why we offered Malceski a coaching gig at the the end of his playing days from his time in Sydney being part of a successful club.Senior coach with years of experience on building a team from a rabble, can't believe he wouldn't be an upgrade on what we have now

Our smashing against the Cats isn't looking so bad atm![]()
He's not doing that impressive. It's all hype and no substance.Watching my old team Geelong tearing West Coast a new 1..
Reminds me of Gold Coast in there prime early 2014 pre injuries the way they taking the game on
The commentators are asking why we gave Zac smith away for nothing..
Plus that set shot on goal that he sprayed out on the full. Useless player. He's not doing that impressive. It's all hype and no substance.
Not a single mark taken, not a single tackle made, hardly any Hit Outs for a #1 ruckman, a small handful of clearances, a behind... he's not exactly setting the world on fire...
I genuinely don't understand why he's getting so much wraps. I really don't.
Eagles have come back some what, but Geelong are just that damn good. The Cats midfield is ripping another one into Weagles which explains the scores to date.
The Weagles defenders do not know who to pick up when the ball is coming in like it did last week against the GCS.
And us smashing Carlton is looking better. Our smashing against the Cats isn't looking so bad atm![]()

It's just a shame, because the real big improver for Geelong is Kersten.Plus that set shot on goal that he sprayed out on the full. Useless player.
There was definitely a "we're ****** if we can't get our good players back on the park soon" feel going on. Don't underestimate the scarring all these big losses is causing either and I think Rocket knows it. If this season goes totally down the gurgle there's the real worry this side doesn't have the mental fortitude to come back from it.Anyone else get the impression from Rockets press conference that he has realised we are a basket case
Nah I think we just don't have AFL caliber players after about the first 20, and half of those are injured. I actually appreciate his calmness and perspective.Anyone else get the impression from Rockets press conference that he has realised we are a basket case
I agree about the calmness, but he seemed resigned to the fact that we are crap and will be flogged for the next month, which is realistic but worrying at the same timeNah I think we just don't have AFL caliber players after about the first 20, and half of those are injured. I actually appreciate his calmness and perspective.
