Roos at metricon would be our best bet. One it's at home and they are the weaker of the 3 when you look at recent history. Lets not forget last year against the roos, both reasonably close matches, and from memory we were minus gaz for one. Not saying we're a certainty, but if we bring our best, anything can happen

Nice thread on the Adelaide board bumped from a while back where Bock was involved in a betting incident.

They've already deemed him guilty of illegal supplement use. :/

Talk about low blows, and kicking a man when he is down geez. And however true it is but saying things about someone's mum and saying the apple doesn't fall far from the tree, please give me a break. Keyboard warriorism at its best

Just because my mum ruins entire countries doesn't mean I will.... Vote #1 BRM for Mayor.

Just read the entire thread, Took every fibre of my being not to go in there and tear strips off those flogs. Then I saw that Darkwing got carded for the most minor offence in the Melbourne forum so I might use this thread for it's intended purpose.

Why must most opposition fans be utter spuds?

Anyone seen the Dogs board lately? They are hating life.

Hope everyone is braced for "plastic franchise", "too many concessions" type comments to increase significantly in volume over the years as we become more successful.

Definitely off topic and unrelated to anything but wanted to share as I thought it was very cool.

Was out on the field for kick-to-kick after the game, I was on the boundary just outside the point post and my two kiddies were about 10 to 15 metres onto the ground and we were kicking it back and forth.
I was holding the ball in my hand as you do, cradled and ready to kick when it changed from the Red and Yellow Sunny Ray ball that I kick with the kids to a solid red ball that didn't belong to me.
Another ball had come in, knocked the first ball out of my hands and landed perfectly where the old ball had been and my hands didn't move at all. My kids saw it and one other guy (the guy who owned the red ball) who was standing about 2 feet to my left. One of the most uncanny things I have ever witnessed just for the fact that it landed so perfectly in my hands, I could have kicked the ball without adjusting my grip on it at all.

Craig Hutchins really does show his complete lack of understanding of the game and his desire to get his name in the headlines by making BIG STATEMENTS.

He said that the EFC would not be impacted by the ASADA interviews. Obviously being interviewed for 3.5 hours by investigators would get into most peoples head space. It only takes a small percentage for a player/club to be off their game for the result to be changed.

Also his opinion of GCS not improving are just ridiculous.

Lyon was giving them credit for improving to be 4-4 and he goes on saying "against substantial teams and the jury is still out on them and McKenna and that the Warragul U9s would beat Melbourne". He was also very critical last year when they were winless after 8 rounds but he has said nothing about GWS. He just has an intense hatred for the Suns and I wouldn't take any notice of him. By beating these sides, you are proving that you are no longer a cellar-dweller and well and truly on the up :thumbsu:.

On plus side: O'Meara tracking similar to Judd, passed Judds number of disposals in a single game in his debut season. :p

ahh so classic hutchy then, i honestly cannot remember the last time he actually said anything with any substance. i think thats the thing that annoys me, how many people suggested that GWS were more advanced than us, but when they have a chance to refute those claims they go back into their shell and look for the next easy target to pot rather than actually bringing some actual news to the table.

first quote, really? is he forgetting that in the last 15 games we have beaten richmond, carlton and st kilda?

second quote, thanks heaps, it actually means alot to us guys that there are people out there who acknowledge us as an AFL club. :)

ahh typical, very typical. Is he forgetting that we arnt the only team to be beaten by freo, namely collingwood and richmond whom many predicted as being in the top 8 at seasons end. and the notion we only beat poor clubs is ridiculous, we had to win those games, imagine if we got beaten, geez....

Interestingly AFL 360's mark Robinson has spoken about GCS in a positive light.
