Geez Kenny Hinkley has transformed Port. I sometimes wonder if we would be further advanced if he had been our senior coach instead of Bluey?
This is not allowed to be discussed on this forum Corkie, any comment that is remotely questioning of the game plan or development is taboo

Kenny was always the taskmaster during his time here.
Drilled the players, made them run and run and run
Not what you'd call a lovey dovey coach in touch with Gen Y's needs and inner beings
I said when he left we let the wrong guy go.
As a Suns supporter I desperately hope I'm wrong

I don't get the lack of love for Aaron ( or Timmy for that matter) neither is perfect but the aforementioned guy above it pretty close
Nah I was just saying that if the gameplan was kicking it to Gaz then Aaron must be destroyed for stealing the Gary free on the weekend.

Maysie and Dion obviously enjoyed their night out after the win yesterday haha. Don't worry Sunny_ it's from an official nightclub facebook page that the public has access to.

Is anyone else worried that our current smash em crash em style of football is going to see us worn out by mid season, we seem to be forever either chasing the player / ball or scrambling on the ground because we missed a target. This has to take its toll over the season.

Doubt it. Considering its been like that for a couple years now. We actually got better as the season went on last year didn't we?

I think it's a positive, as the off field and pre-game coaching stuff is working. They are getting right mentally before and during the game. When was the last time you can remember we came out flat?

Our effort and endeavor has been there consistently for probably 12 months now. Look at Freo, North, Sydney all top 8 clubs who this year have all been burnt for their lack of effort.

Combative football is finals football - I'm content with the way we've been performing personally as a team.

I reckon GCS have done a fantastic job to date and the club is certainly moving in the right direction.

I am thinking a total of 9-11 wins and ending up around 9-11 on the ladder at the end of season.

I have always thought that 2017 is the premiership year.

I hope I am wrong and they get there sooner!!

Ah ok, fair enough :D
I thought it was the opposite.

I don't know if the fade out proves anything in my favour supernova_ but the combative nature of our game days at the moment must take a toll.

Does anyone know our kicking efficiency, I bet its in the bottom 4 in the league.

Was second bottom by 0.1%I think according to SN. Would not have improved much on the weekend.

We get that right and we win 15 games this year lol

Shame it's probably the single hardest thing to get right

Gold Coast Suns star Harley Bennell drove unregistered car home from training.
GOLD Coast Suns star Harley Bennell is in hot water after being busted for driving offences on the way home from training.

The rising AFL star was nabbed by police on the way home from training on March 29.

He was driving his flatmate’s car, which was uninsured and unregistered.

Bennell, 21, had also failed to attach P-plates.

He informed the club of his indiscretion and Suns coach Guy McKenna wrote a glowing reference for his star midfielder, which was submitted to the court.

...

A spokesman for the Suns said the club supported Bennell.

“He was driving a vehicle that he didn’t know was unregistered,” he said.

“He has been fined $860 and no further action is required.”

The Bully has published this article twice now. Think it's trying to make Harley into some sort of criminal. As it is, this is extremely minor stuff. Funny story, I was also pulled over once for driving an unregistered vehicle. :D

Im baaaaaaccckkkk ;)

Finished my assignments and got in the swing of it again after a year out. Needed some time without distraction.
