Was it just this guy? Maybe could look similar with a hat on sitting behind the glass

In saying that I also saw the shot and thought to myself, god that looks like Peter

Good i thought i was going crazy. Anyone know why?

Arranged by Suns development coach Aaron Rogers.

Both 2MP & Touk were junior state cricketers for Vic.
2MP fast bowler. Touk a keeper.

Part of Suns player development teaching them how other sports professionals go about things, etc. Awesome opportunity for the lads :thumbsu:

Need GCFC Digital to put together an extended article on 2MP and Miller with the Australian team - how did it happen? What did they do? Did they learn anything new? Did 2MP get to bowl to the Aussies

That's awesome. I thought i was going crazy thinking "i must be missing the footy if i start seeing Suns players randomly on TV."

meh, I don't particularly care what other people think about our dealing strategies after what Clayton and co. netted us this off-season considering the position we were in.

We have shown that when we want to keep a player who has asked to be traded we want fair value or as close to it as possible, which is fair considering we don't want to be a development team for VIC. The Jaeger situation was unique in that we had helped him for 2 years without him playing only for him to piss-off, so rightly we wanted value for him, given his potential, what we payed for him, and who he wanted to go to. Other clubs are kidding themselves if they were in the same position and said they would have done it any differently. With Prestia, I think most of us would have accepted their pick6 and maybe one of our seconds going back to them, but Richmond seemed desperate to get him and ended up handing overs. Same with Dixon. We felt like they would cave easily and pay overs, so we pushed for it. Some clubs wouldn't have pushed as hard, but we aren't in a position not to. Other than those 3, we have been pretty fair in getting players to where they want, or getting players in. Zac Smith (who Geelong have benefitted from, so don't know what they're beef with us is), Tom Hickey, Bennell (copped serious unders for him, but looking better) we were happy to see them to their new clubs, while the likes of Currie, Witts, Hanley, Lyons, Rosa and Hallahan all came in with little argument, or us pushing for a better deal.

So yeah, some have the opinion that we are monsters to deal with, but if that means that teams will second guess themselves before coming in for one of our young guns then who cares.

Also Gaz is 33 and if he says he'll retire unless he is traded and he still doesn't want to be part of the club in 10 months time, then I doubt we will push to hard to get a massive deal for him, seeing as the club is already starting to move on with or without him.

I doubt Gaz will threaten to retire if he doesn't get his way (could definitely see him pulling the pin if he doesn't have a clean bill of health for next year, though - it'd just be too frustrating to keep on 'playing' if he isn't even able to get on the park). We should be confident in his professionalism, though. He's done absolutely nothing that's made me doubt it, including relinquishing his captaincy. If Gaz didn't get injured, we'd still be singing his praises, face it - and the fact he got injured is not his fault in the slightest.

As for Geelong supporters hoping for Gaz to return to Geelong, they've been hoping for it ever since he moved to the Gold Coast Suns. He's in his mid-thirties now. He's still on a huge contract.

The only thing I can see Gaz doing is going to Geelong with the intention of life after football (ie, a coaching gig, which must be accounted for in their salary cap) like Stevie J for GWS or Sam Mitchell for West Coast.

We did take Ablett off Geelong in the first place, but we've been quite kind to them since then. We basically gave them Zac Smith for nothing.

Yeah, not quite what that OP of mine was about. I do like your general opinion.
Was angry about the insinuation that Suns r hard to deal with :)
