Can anyone confirm Jordans where abouts

View attachment 336792

If that has even an ounce of truth to it (which I highly doubt given who it is), then Jordan is doing the GC all wrong. Who the hell hates the Gold Coast so much that they move 1000km away from their husband of just over 1 year when he is already dealing with issues of his own? Its not Western freaking Sydney or Adelaide. ;) She knows there is like beaches and shopping malls and stuff here too, yeah?

But then again, there really isn't much else to report about the Suns that will attract headlines in the VIC media. Everyones re-signing, no one is making the front page of the paper for drugs, and the Coch has been otherwise occupied overseas living it up. They need something.

My vent, http://www.afl.com.au/news/2017-02-17/no-ceiling-on-hawks-in-2017-says-hodge
Yay, Hodge, the poster boy for drink driving.

Hodge has heard the ripples of excitement from Hawthorn supporters about Jaeger O'Meara, the injury-prone midfielder who joined the club from Gold Coast and whose first hit-out will be in Friday's JLT Community Series game against Geelong at UTAS Stadium.

So he chooses his words carefully.

"Jaeger is ticking the boxes. He's been very impressive from the first time I've met him. He's gone through a lot with his setbacks, but to be as mature as he is, you struggle to find a fault with him," he said.

Hodge drops a few stories about how well O'Meara has fitted into the club and his professionalism with his rehabilitation. At training, his teammates have seen first hand what a beast he is to match up on.

But it is a touch awkward for Hodge when conversation turns to what O'Meara might bring on match days. The fact is that fully fit, O'Meara offers Hawthorn what his two great mates, departed pair Sam Mitchell and Jordan Lewis, no longer quite could.

"It's well known that our spread from the contest hasn't been great. We've had Isaac Smith and Liam Shiels in there, but when you have a rotation of Mitchell, Hodge and Lewis, who when they're fresh might be able to get out in some space, but naturally are more defensive runners," Hodge said.

"Jaeger definitely adds to that. He has the ability to win his own ball but what I've seen at training is that he wins the ball, kicks it long then works towards the next contest and that's something we have lacked consistently over the last few years."

My off topic -

How much of this are we doing..? C&P (with a team name change) from the current premiers -

On-field pre-match entertainment, food trucks, jumping castles, face painting and a footy clinic for the kids.

A special Suns-branded photo booth will also be available for fans to document their experience at the matches.

To be honest, Tom Mitchell is more exciting. He was absolutely beastly during that whole finals series with Sydney last season. O'Meara still has question marks; however, he will be a champion if he fully recovers from his injury and once he shakes off the rust. I respect Luke Hodge's insight in regard to O'Meara's early-in-his-career injury woes, though. Luke Hodge had a similar injury-ridden start to his career (highly touted draft pick, osteitis pubis, scrutinised to buggery).

Those of you like me that have an AFL LIVE PASS and intend to use it to watch the Suns tomorrow you're in for a rude shock. They have reduced the viewing screen from full iPad size down to iPhone size as part of the new deal with Telsra. It's ****ing disgraceful and shows the fans simply don't count.

This means once I cancel it I won't get access to any Suns games, out of site out of mind. **** you Gillion

Yep i'm in the same boat. Very annoying. A group of people on reddit are complaining to the ACCC as it's misleading by telstra.
