Yep some people in here are already writing off our recruits saying we should have got this guy instead. Give it 5 years and see where they all are. You put Brodie or Ainsworth in a team going as well as Port and i gaurantee they star as well.

For something very off topic. Any of you lads have the hook up for gold coast commonwealth games accommodation? Many hotels are either already booked out or haven't opened up bookings for it yet. Most of those that have made bookings available are either too expensive $1000+ per night or the affordable ones are miles away. Any suggestions for reasonable, clean affordable accommodation for 2 adults and an 18 month old? Cheers.

OK boys and girls, here I am sitting over here a million miles from anywhere and trying to get a grip on our season so far. Whether I'm right or wrong doesn't really matter in the scheme of things.
I was at a loss to explain our effort in the 1st game against Brissy until I read somewhere that the sad news from Ireland was relayed to our team just prior to the game. I don't give a sh*t who you are, but that would affect any close knit group, and maybe that was the reason for our slow start to the game. And which I might add, has been conveniently overlooked by all the media since, especially the southern a*holes.
Now we come to the 2nd game and we were completely outgunned by GWS, from what I can ascertain. This GWS squad is the one everyone had winning the 2017 comp.,by the way. Yeah, I go along with the fact it didn't look good and I thought we would do better than that.
Now we have the media calling for Ablett's head. He looked dis-interested, he logged off, he was sulking, all the crap that teams north of the Murray seem to have in abundance.
Well I don't know if anyone out there is aware of this or not, but Ablett had 16 possessions, 5 tackles and 1 goal in a losing team while everyone's favourite player, if you live south of the Murray, yeah I'm talking about Cyril, you know, the bloke that every commentator has a problem with remembering his surname. Yeah that's the bloke, Cyril Rioli. He had 13 possessions,4 tackles and 1 goal in a losing team......But we don't read one word about that and Hawthorn are also 0-2. Obviously he wasn't dis-interested,or logged off, or was sulking, because he's Cyril. He was just having an average game and that's supposedly ok. I really have a problem accepting the cr*p coming out of the Melbourne media. But it won't change, never has and never will.
My point to this long winded, alcohol fuelled rant, is we're 2 rounds in with 20 to go and we're 0-2 and we need to close our ears/eyes to all the southern media cr*p that's being sprouted left right and centre. It's not an ideal start for sure, but I believe it's the next 1-5 games that will determine who we are, and we need to believe.
And I am SUNS......from day one.

I hope so. As much i like him, the pressure is clearly getting to him. He's running out of chances to end things on his terms.
Seriously what would any other Club offer him and more importantly us based on his form of the past 2 seasons?

That's really sad, He might finish as only playing for the Suns.
Only one calf was dodgy when he left us. Now both are, and he's had 3 separate incident s while being at Freo. While it started with us I don't believe Suns are to blame for the extent of his injury at all.

That trade at time was woeful , still is , but looking better , Harley + 22 for 16,35 , which equates to Bennell , Tucker for Fiorini , Schoenfeld.
Plus the salary cap relief.. the extra 5 or 600k a season is being spent on bringing in the likes of Barlow and Lyons... there is more to it than just the player swap..
His body doesnt cope well with his partying ways each weekend obviously
