Not sure which thread to ask, but me and my father have booked flights for the Round 13 clash GC v Carlton as my dad is a passionate Carlton fan and me persistently telling him to take me to a GC game. Should I book tickets now or will we be fine for game day, if so what seats are best for public. Thanks in advance and Go Suns

Never had a sellout, you will be fine

Okay thanks, do you know what seating is available for general admission

Nowhere near enough GA for mine. Keeps shrinking every year, along with the size of the crowd. Would love them to expand it next year. Seems pointless having so much reserved seating that goes unused. When the stadium is consistently 18K+ then add to reserved seating then. I prefer to stand so no real problem there. But all that vacant space is not a good look.

Been the same amount a GA seating for 7 years behind goals at each end.
Club would be stupid to add more would take away from membership numbers.
I think our membership packages need to be looked at.
Lower the prices and make silver reserved memberships work out to be about the same as a General admission ticket per game.

Pretty easy to see why Toby Green is disliked by many football followers. A cheap hit on Daniels which will cost him at least 2 weeks. A sniper is probably a good description of many of his actions on the field.
Yet I'd love him in our team.. He steps up when it counts... Admittedly is a grub though

So given the way Geelong and port are playing we will most likely go to the break with 2 wins. Pretty disappointing. We should be so much better given the talent in the field. We have patches were we look great but then go to crap. I understand losing May and Thompson but the back line isn't our problem. Our tacklimg and defensive pressure around the ground is appalling at times

I think you may be overestimating the "talent on the field"
There's a pretty big drop from Ablett and Lynch to the next level players

Someone said to me last night May is a huge loss for us and we can't win without him , sure he is a big loss but he is a key back , the crows lost talia in the first minute against us last week and beat us by 67 . I think we need to be on ballers first and foremost.

So the "experts" in the media decided Gary Ablett was washed up and his best football was behind him.

It is laughable that the opinion of the so called experts can be so far off the mark. However week after week they pedal the same uninformed and ignorant tripe just so they can put something in print or on the airwaves.

The Tigers board has turned on Dion, seems he's now the new whipping boy and we supposedly reamed them to get pick 6.

As I remember it they chased him with a massive long term offer and put themselves in a position that they had to give it up, it's like blaming the gun when you shoot yourself in the foot.

They are smashing him for his poor disposal but surely they must of looked at him play prior to the offer as he was never a good ball user

he doesnt look fit either

Gaz by statistics is playing as well as his Brownlow year except for goal kicking. Now we all know his impact wasn't there for the first few games but it'll be interesting to see how his year pans out. Was absolute vintage Gaz on the weekend and makes me feel like a dick for ever criticising his off field stuff. He's just so damn good to watch play I don't even care.

I've also been overly critical of his leadership and his decision to try and trade back to Melbourne, but honestly, it doesn't matter when you can watch him do that for your team for 2.5 hours any given Sunday(or Saturday)
