So Lever(uncontracted) doesn't make the top 10 at the Crows and yet they believe he's worth 2 x 1st rd picks.

Ablett, about 12-13 yrs older, and contracted, and abt 200+ games more experience, wins ours, off 14 games and Geelong want us to take maybe a 2nd/3rd rounder...

Am I missing something here?

All about the age and future potential . Gaz is running out of both...just need a reasonable player in exchange..

Fair enough but my point is more about Lever being worth 2 x 1st rounders. No way is he worth 2. Don't care how much potential he has.

Clayton has stated best 22 or no deal
That's the line in the sand I hope
We need to sell list cloggers, not buy them in- that's like coals to Newcastle
We certainly don't need anymore "picks" or gunnabees
We have way more than enough to cover our academy guys and a couple of first rounders and maybe 1 or 2 projects
If Ablett and Saad can't bring us best 22's to cover their loss from our best 22 then anything/anyone else just seems a waste of time.
Get Shauny Hart to work with Adam.
I wouldn't even mind him having a 3 or 4 weeks off for Ramadan in May or other important religious/cultural festivals so he can fly home and be with his family.He's the kind of guy who sometimes needs a few weeks mid season for niggles anyway
Honestly I'd rather Saad for a decent 18 matches next season than some cast-off who a player manager and list manager has smeared some lipstick on and tried to tell us it doesn't oink

I think the campaigner term come from some bad commentary a few years ago. Eddie McGuire was talking to Kane Cornes and called him an old 'Charlie Uniform November Tango'. But he quickly changed his words to Old Campaigner. And since then it has been a thing.

I sort of knew Healy when I was a teenager would you believe.
He used to live in Cronulla and Surf there, he was an adult we were just teenagers, about 15-16. Bit wierd really in hindsight.
Yeah he can swear with the rest of them and it probably shows his true disdain for us.
I don't really like the guy to be perfectly honest. Leave it at that. Thanks for sharing it.

Healy rubbishes us at every turn, been at it for years

I don't think you'll find many on this board that love his work as a caller
