Primus should be the first out the door but probably won't given the Port premiership connection

Not that it's anything Suns related but bumped in to Joe Ingles at the kids section at K-Mart at Southland this morning with his family. For a bloke that is Australia's highest paid athlete he is very unassuming and just blends into crowd except for being tall.
He had an awesome year with the Jazz

With Ingles visiting Victoria, I'm surprised the media aren't reporting that Hawthorn or Richmond are into him & the deal is done.

What precisely is Primus’ role as an assistant? Is he still coaching the Mids? If so, doesn’t this include the rucks? Or has he got a different role under Dew?
I think the healthiest thing would be to start turning over the staff, for their benefit as much as the club’s, but not Matty if he is responsible for Witts’ growth from 3rd choice at Collingwood to top 5 in the AFL in less than 30 games.

It's almost like a dagger through the heart when the commentator says "Dayne Beams from the Gold Coast making his debut". I know the timing of it all didn't really help us but one wonders where we would be as a club right now if we recruited Gold Coasters like Nick Riewoldt, Dayne Beams, Dayne Zorko, Kurt Tippett, David Hale and Daniel Merrett when we entered the league in 2011...

There are no excuses going forward when another talented Gold Coast junior comes along.

Add Josh Thomas to that group, who might have had a very different career as a Sun. Or not. Also, Josh Jenkins was from our Townsville zone, just too early like these guys. Clubs made sure to secure their QLD talent when the Suns were forming. Beams and Thomas rejected offers to play TAC Cup and were picked up by Collingwood. Riewoldt had premierships on his mind, Tippett was probably swayed by his brother's experience, while Hale and Merrett were overpaid. Zorko was an error of judgement that 16 other teams and even the Lions originally made, so good luck to Brizzy (Touk's better anyway!).

Apprently that happens all the time, Which makes him a perfect fit with all the unassuming white people in Utah.

I don’t wanna be that guy but he’s not our highest paid athlete..

Who is?
(i only ask because i thought that as well, but after checking a few others that i thought might be higher he seems in front of them at least on publicly available info. Danny Ric etc)
Day is up there I’d say Ricardo or Simmons.

Simmons makes about $6m-$7m on a rookie scale contract - he may get another $5m in shoe deals and endorsements

Jason Day I heard has been going through a rough patch until just recently and made $3m in 2017 earning but around $5m for 2018 so far

Ricciardo is not that highly paid, because of being tied to Red Bull, his next contract will be a huge increase because he can play the big teams against each other. base salary only about 6.5mil (US) per year (not sure what his current bonuses are)
Simmons is on about the same 6.1mil (US), again this is due to him being a rookie, his big pay day will come in his next contract now that he has established himself.
No idea about Day.
So compared to Ingles approx 13.5mil per year they are a little behind

always wondered why the Suns haven't done some sort of sponsorship/partnership with Village Roadshow Theme Parks

Discounted tickets for members and
Suns can sell Travel packs for the clubs traveling up to the Gold Coast with tickets for game the parks and accommodation at sea world resort or the new hotel at movie world when it's built
