I would probably still tune in for a good game of footy on the TV.

But any sort of emotional tie to a team would be done for me IMO.

But the longer we are awful, and you hear the negative tid bits about the club on and off the field, it just chips away at my resolve.

Sounds like the AFL have underestimated the job at hand for a second time.

They completely stuffed up the setting up of the club with an untried coach and piss poor facilities.

Now it sounds like Mark Evans can't get the help he needs
 
I’m already seething over the Titans getting robbed blind last night and now I’m reading some of the Suns most keen supporters writing our obituary.
Fire Up. Adversity happens.

If you want it easy then go for the Brisbane Drongoes, Melbourne Storm, Hawthorn, Sydney Ugly Ducks, Real Madrid etc

Not a single player we drafted frim 2011 is worth a 1st round pick at the moment.
Swallow - 2nd rounder
Bennell - free
Day - 4th rounder
Prestia - lucky to get a 1st worth a 2nd now
Caddy - same as prestia
Lynch - only worth a 2nd on recent form
Gorringe - not worth a can of coke
Tape - not worth some sticky tape

Absolute screw up by clayton and list management.
In comparison GWS 2011 draft

Patton - a 2nd round pick
Coniglio - a top 5 pick or 2 1sts
Tyson - a 2nd round
Hoskin elliot - 2nd round
Buntine - 4th round
Haynes - 3rd round
Tomlinson - 3rd round
Sumner - free
Greene - 1st round
Adams - 1st round
D. Smith - 2nd round

I will go higher with tomlison and Hayes . 2nd round .

Injury Trolling is regarded as not on but seriously a club’s death thread. Terrible.

After sleeping on it and nearly broke up with the misses here my points on the season so far.

It’s very hard to see the light at the moment.

I think iv come to peace that lynch will be wearing a Victorian jumper next season.

I just wish they would stop with rischitelli and just play him in the twos for the rest of the year.

Ainsworth, Martin and Witts are the only ones who is playing up to AFL level at this stage and maybe Miller and Swallow to a lesser extent.

The Gold Coast community feels like the Suns are a joke and refuse to turn up to support them, and why should they???

From the rumor mill even the CEO is saying that the club is a basket case.

Dew had the boys on fire early winning the first 5 games of the year (preseason included) and then from that moment one win and a lot of uncompetitive losses, so is there an issue with the fitness staff???

The development team working with young boys needs to be replaced as the only young player that has come into his own has been Ainsworth. Bowes, Scrimshaw, Brodie, Powell are just mehhhhh type players. or do we need to replace the recruiting staff??

Kade Kolo-cant spell the rest of his fricken name has regressed more then any footballer I can think of in my living memory, even more then Gavin Urquard of North Melbourne in 2009. I remember the suns decided not to draft his brother Jade as they thought he would be a bust. Now who’s laughing.

Great post-disagree with one thing slightly, our crowds when you weigh things up are something to be proud of.
 
Guys can anyone quantify what this comment/rumour is about the CEO saying he even questions our relevance/situation? Seems to me something that's a throwaway comment that is now being taken as fact?

What link is there between the forced resignation of the head of the cheer squad and the allegation of such comments from the CEO?

No link. Just saying how everything is falling apart and that there is no composure or organisation from anywhere in our club
 
I just got banned from the Gold Coast pummelling thread in the main board.
They don’t want people defending us it appears.

PS-probably a blessing for me though as it’s a vortex that sucks you right in.

Same over on Facebook you can only defend the club so many times until the repetitiveness of your comments become boring for yourself
 
Its just too much to repeat yourself as its too easy for the dole bludgers with nothing better to do than type send them to tasmania. Doing any research is beyond those plebs.

Those threads are full of posters who feel the need to post on every single thread regardless if they're interested or not.
Occasionally you'll get someone who makes a measured and sensible post but it's troll city in general. Apparently if you get 20,000 posts your footy knowledge explodes....Stay away.
