Watching the dees v Swans game highlights just how far we are away from finals football. The vision, execution, desire to win at all costs could not be more stark
Agree we need to get better in those areas but really don't think we are far off at all. Things can change pretty quick with improvement from each player added with good recruiting.

I just watched them too.

Agree… but they are the ‘highlights’

Our forward line has had virtually no time to gel due to injury and recruits.

It’s the biggest worry for me for next year.

King - chol - Ainsworth - rosas - holman - lukosius - casboult - sexton

Talented. But pretty odd mix of players who haven’t played much together at all.

Agree, Dew will have to drill the forwards all through the off season so they know each other’s running patterns etc.

Also needs to find a spot for Bowes, Sharp, Jefferys as if he doesn’t we are wasting them while players McPherson etc get games that don’t make us better . Also Moyle needs to be blooded

Yes, definitely add Jeffrey - I forgot him.
Hollands could probably play a bit forward too

Ellis could probably play a bit back

To let Sharp play on the wing.

To add, I think Jeffrey will definitely be playing predominantly 1's next year - especially if Rankine goes.

Need someone with a bit of unpredictability and x-factor up there.

I was at the game I see a lot of our game style in the way it was played last night but we just don’t have the clean skills and probably still a couple of players needed.. also the amount of times sydney just tapped the ball on to another player close by instead of taking possession was crazy..

Remember when we traded Weller (who was coming home 12 months later anyway) for pick 2?????

Well that pick two just won the MVP at 22 years old and single handedly brought Fremantle back from annihilation in an elimination final.

That’s to nasty to bring up

Who’s to say the pick 2 didn’t request a trade after a couple of years anyway? Hindsight is a wonderful thing

The Weller trade was huge for the culture of the club.

Well worth the Pick 2

As someone who has watched the Club collect high draft picks over the years I've always felt draft picks no matter where they come are magic beans
The Weller trade while not awesomely awesome was solid for a number of reasons
Would you rather have Izak Rankine or pick 5?

Rankine hands down.
I've never been sold on the value people put on draft picks. Especially as a suns supporter seen so many of them turn into just ok players. Swallow, Day, caddy, prestia, Gorringe, Wright, ah chee, scrimshaw, kolodjashnij just to name a few all top 10 picks that have become good/handy players at best. Sure you could argue the club didn't get the best out of them but a few of them have gone to other clubs now and been just ok even having spent as little as 2 years in our system.
Other clubs might rate them higher but that's probably because most clubs get 3 or 4 top 10 picks in a 6-10 year span.

Anyone noticed the adds always being in the way?like I can’t even see what I’m typing anymore

Are you running this on the chrome app? Chrome has been a bit fiddly for Bigfooty lately.

If this turns out to be another prison shower soap dropping party like recent trading from our club where potentially Rankine, Sharp, Flanders all go for SFA then close us down. We can’t buy high and sell low and expect any success
You don't time the market, it's time in the market

What are you going to do with the picks you get from Sharp and Flanders?

Realistically you’re turning those picks in future second round picks at best.
