Stanton, I love you but come on, the whole ******* team nearly tonned up. THE WHOLE TEAM. You out of all people should be someone you would capitialise on that situation. But no, that's not how it works for you is it Brent. Now everytime I log in I have to see your smug face looking back at me. YOU HAVE NO REASON TO BE SMILIING, STOP SMILING. MAYBE INSTEAD OF SMILING YOU SHOULD BE GETTING YOUR OWN BALL INSTEAD OF WAITING FOR SOMEONE TO GIVE IT TO YOU. BUT NO, YOU JUST STAND THERE WALKING BEHIND THE PACK. AND WHEN THE BALL FINALLY COMES OUT YOU JUST START SHOUTING AND WAVING YOUR ARMS FRANTICALLY HOPING SOMEONE WILL PASS IT OFF TO YOU. YOU ARE A HACK, YOU DON'T DESERVE TO SMILE

I expect (hope) around 2,200, but what disappoints me is that I've only had one really poor score (Rohan - 50). My next worst from 12 played is 83. So far I've avoided Franklin, Dangerfield, Goldstein, Thomas and any other poor score. McDonald was put on the bench so as to start Langford.

Swan as captain and no Ablett seem my biggest errors.

This is a very confusing vent. You are disappointed that you have only had one poor score and benched Mcdonald?

I'm lamenting having a very average first round score whilst (thus far) avoiding some of the calamities faced by others.

Pretty obvious I would have thought.

Most of the people posting their scores are the ones having a very good weekend so I wouldn't write off your score yet.

Even so, I wish I was in your boat. Avoiding the likes of Ellis/Franklin/Daisy etc means you have less to worry about with trades next week (unless you are talking AFL Fantasy?)

Nah, I haven't posted my scores because I don't want to blow everybody out of the water.

:(

In reality I may well be around 2,100 if a couple of things don't go according to plan, but yes, I get your point. People don't tend to post average scores at this point.

I'm only doing AFL Fantasy.

Roughead, Dangerfield and Cloke in RDT. Bloody hell, they all had to have stinkers in Rd1...hopefully 2014 isn't a stinker of a year for them in general...

Roughead got 98 dude, that's above average for him.
Because I totally posted that after the game

He was on 30 halfway into the third quarter, when that was posted

Yeah seen, at least you might have somehow kicked him into action. You should've given Mitchell a roasting too :p could've helped a few of us.

It's probably worth waiting until after the game to make a vent like that, especially when you're including someone who can junk it up with the best of them.

I have Langford, Langdon and Dunstan on the pine for me. Fantastic.

30 points deep in 3QTR is well worth a vent IMO

Bartel did it regularly last season. His 138 against Richmond was made from a 60-70 point last qtr.
If a player does it, it's a nice bonus. But no-one should ever expect a player to just casually put on a massive amount of points if they've bee poor the entire day, I'm not saying it doesn't happen.
