dont usually do these but it has to be said that mundy is a weak footballer. until players like him harden up freo will never do well. he just jogs around all day picking up some uncontested possessions and not laying tackles or getting in and under. he will never be a true midfielder such as haselby who without, freo would have no chance. only have to look to their hawthorn game to see them collapse in the midfield when haselby was down forward.

Edit: Oh yeah, Mundy. He really does skulk around the ball chasing the cheap ones, pity it hasn't worked the last couple of weeks. He is suited to DT though, if he actually got involved in some hard ball contests he could be not only a great player but a great DT'er.

yer i watch a few essondon games. i know he is very effective when he has the ball, but when he has his big 150 games he gets cheap posis everywhere over the ground. would be nice to see him run around free every week, or learn to cope with a tag.

I was congratulating myself on taking the captaincy off Bartel at the 11th hour ... and moved it too Reiwoldt, when I was SO close to moving it to Davis.
Which would have won me my Eliminator.

Rich has been pretty good for a first year player. We have been spoiled in the past with Joel Selwood and Palmer.
It's true, I can't really complain about Rich. Was more the point of the combined package of a midfield which didn't fire at all.
