Based on what. The fact the media have gone and searched for whenever it has happened to make their point. They could do that with nearly any team.

I remember Christenson passing to another player who ran into goal this season and the replay showed it was a throw. I can't remember every single occasion however.

I don't know the exact definition but if we want to be pedantic a handball is only legal if the ball is held stationary with one hand and and punched with the other. Moving the hand holding the ball in the direction the handball is going is a throw and should result in a free kick. We can't go picking up this though or the free kick count will be astronomical.

The argument of an umpire conspiracy theory could go on forever and any team depending on who you are talking to. The fact is every supporter probably feels as though they have been hard done by after a game on a few calls. At the end of the day all you can go on is facts and going by the free kick differential I am sure other supporters are probably in a better position to be crying foul.

I am not crying foul at the free kick count. I know we get more free kicks than anybody and I dunno if we deserve every free kick or not. The fact remains that after the whole media ducking thing that week players got tackled around the head and umpires were scared to pay it. It wasn't only WCE players either. Umpires were pedantic on the high tackles claiming everybody was ducking. Now we prob gonna see ridiculous throwing calls.

p.s. I only really got fired up because some clearly educated person made the first reply claiming **** sucking was involved.

It's an invalid premise to base umpiring favouritism on the free-kick differential. Surely the basis of umpiring bias/incompetence (or whether your team got a charmed run or raw deal) is about the missed frees and incorrectly awarded frees, not frees for/against.

The Geish (?? Spelling) came out and said that at least 3 throws from WC went unnoticed but its too hard to tell sometimes due to the speed. I guarantee all teams do it if they think they can get away with it. Just seems WC have been pulled up because they seem to push all rules to the limits.

Or because Darcy put the focus on us doing it. Can only sit back and laugh at the constant accusations being made towards WC this year.

Gibbs/Ratten - holding Gibbs all the way down since the start of the season and it appears as soon as I trade him out Ratten decides to pin his massive ears back, get his head out of his arse and start playing Gibbs loose in a DT-friendly role. Brilliant.

Edit: The role I kept waiting for assuming that Ratts would at least try something different given how we keep losing doing the same thing every week. Its tough supporting the blues in the face of (t)his idiocy.
