Without a doubt Birchall is now the worst trade of all time. Got no more than 81 in 5-6 weeks with about 4 scores from 30-60, plus a late Withdrawl. This shit he gave us would be valued at around 160k, but actually cost 520k.

F**king sick of JJK. I know he was cheap at the start of the year but I didn't pick him because he's injury prone and his career average hasn't actually been that good (he has never been a consistent DT scorer so wasn't a lock for me). I could accept an average of 80-85 but how the f**k has he lifted his average towards 95?? Just makes no sense and I reckon if he had only averaged 75 I would be 20,000 places higher overall.

Just pissed that Kennedy is killing it when all of my 'risky' initial picks (like M.Wright, Siposs, Karnezis, Gaff did SFA). He's averaging more than Cotchin and his namesake for f**k sake. You would've got some pretty long odds before the season that that would happen. I figured the benefits of getting him wouldn't outweigh the risks involved so I stayed clear. For me, this was what any rational DTer would do so anybody who picked him is just a lucky bastard!

Averaged 79 in 2011, entering the prime age for KPPs, expected natural improvement from many of the midfielders supplying JK, a previous top 5 pick in the draft - I take exception to you calling anyone who picked him a 'lucky bastard'.

I don't think anyone expected JK to score as well as he has, but his price and job security won over a lot of people. I remember a lot were tossing up between him and Byrnes before the season started.

He was priced at 270k, you would of been naive to overlook him because of injury risk. He isn't even injury prone, by the way, just copped one long term injury last year.

He ticks all the boxes - marks, kicks and tackles. Plus he's a focal point or a conduit. And priced at half premium price, he had to be a lock for anyone (particularly with 2 trades per week this year). The only "luck" is that he's pretty much become a keeper through his consistency. Most who grabbed him saw him as a likely mid-pricer to make some moneyz.

Now Stokes, on the other hand... who the F saw that one coming?
