Wow! Can relate so much! Never seen a final win before because I started following Richmond in 2002, also started following Richmond coz of mates and I like tigers as animals. Came to the country around the same age as well

2013 was crazy exciting for me, first time I had seen any sort of success while following the Tigers. Winning 15 games, almost making top 4, making finals... And here I am still waiting to witness that first final win lol. Words can't describe how much of a disappoint this season was, had high expectations before the season started.

Yeah 2013 was definitely a new and exciting experience following Richmond and here we are out of the top 8 again. Oh well, I guess this is what you and I are used to

This is why I often get so upset with RFC. Other clubs seem to rebuild/regenerate so much quicker than us. Look at us at the end of 2014 VS Bulldogs at the end of 2014. How are the Bulldogs tasting success before us?

living in footscray I'm finding myself more and more attached to the dogs, I'm happier tonight about footy than I have been pretty much the whole time I've been following Richmond.

They refuse to put together known facts or accept them, preferring to believe those at the helm have their finger on the pulse, when it's plain as day, those at the helm accept mediocrity because they hide their deficiencies by promoting this stoic stance that says we made the right dedicions. Right now make no mistake the appointment of Balme was forced upon them. There has been no thought put into it, there has been no canvassing of any other candidates we just hired Balme and that because the Cats did and that after we have failed dismally to be pseudo dawks. You look at Swans Dogs Dawks and Cats for that matter and 1 thing stands out from everything. They carved their own path and game plan and everything and produced the goods. We continue to be wannabes and we continue to be steered by spuds with NFI on a self made direction to success. Until this board is expiosed as the inept irrelevant silver tails they are and replaced with tigerheads wanting to make a difference with a vision on how to and execute it we will meander between 8th and 12th forever as long as we announce a profit.

Sort of agree with most of that.
What i question is this. IF WE WERE INTO NB, Why would you go and get HIM but just before he arrives to do his job, you tie his hands behind his back by making most of the decisions that would have fallen to him.

I actually think we got lucky in the fact NB has shown himself to be a shrewd operator AND HE FELL INTO OUR LAP.

Really good question. After not giving contracts to his assistants, surely he was asked to resign gracefully!. Must have spoken to #standbyHird, before he said "No, you can sack he if you like".

Club probably said "Fine we will find something for you to do, once we get the best assistants & make you redundant".

Surely even DH can join the dots.
