Graham Wright on Dwayne's SEN show today repeatedly said "from my prospective...."
Was his go to lead in phrase for a lot of comments, that it made me wonder if he says it in meetings as well.
Personally, I'd find that really awkward, but maybe in football circles, it just goes through to the keeper.
Just take it one week at a time..Need the footy season to resume to get this thread firing again
I've heard him use it too never knew the definition. When he says it does he mean Definitely, like he'll say it's obstensibly true, when he means its definitely true?? Is that how you see it?I reckon Hutchy uses "ostensibly" incorrectly almost every week. I suspect he's trying to sound smart, but he sounds like a dickhead when he uses it wrong. Just when I occasionally think he's half smart -- talking about business stuff I know nothing about -- he blows it.
Yep, I reckon that's exactly what he does: basically the opposite of what it meansWhen he says it does he mean Definitely, like he'll say it's obstensibly true, when he means its definitely true?? Is that how you see it?
Leigh Montagna: "he's big and lumbersome"
Oops! Ha. I haven't heard it beforeFunnily enough, lumbersome is actually a word, the definition of which is quite close to cumbersome....So he may well have fluked that one.

How's the *ing super-deep voice he puts on?! It's a bit tosser-ishHeard David Armstrong on 3AW butcher the word 'glyphosate' two different ways in the one news bulletin yesterday!
How's the f*n super-deep voice he puts on?! It's a bit tosser-ish
"David Armstronnnng, 3a-double-uuuuuuuuuu"Him and Tony Tardio both. I can't tell them apart, they both have the same newsreader voice.
