Very disappointing

I'm not going to go on a rant but tonight's game was very bad. We lacked any heart whatsoever besides our two ruck men. Our kicking and handballing effecincy was deplorable and not that of a top 8 side. Our defence was okay but our pressure and manning up was crap, we let pendles, davis, swan and didak run rampant. Juddy's only flaw is his defence, whenever someone runs with him they seem to get a lot of the ball and it hurts us. We will not be able to keep up with the top teams if we play like that, hopeless effort.


My changes for next week would be:

In: Walker, Warnock, Jamison
Out: Hartlett, Bentley, Houlihan(decision making costs us too many goals),

We were sh!t and the Pies were good. End Of Story. Lets move on and forget this one. I hate losing to Collingwood but we were really hopeless and lets hope we bounce back next week.

It is to easy to blame any one player or Ratts even though the latter was outcoached we must be accountable as a Team and that extends to the MC as well and everyone involved with the CFC at the highest level not just the easy targets.

There are a few more than that too. From an unbiased point of view it was a shocking game and Collingwood doesn't have a hope in hell of doing any good in this years finals let alone your team.

There are about 8 or 9 players who you have to get rid of. Once your team gains more experience and gets rid of the dead wood you'll be fine.

Its one thing losing. But losing the way we did! Im ****ing sick of it. Just piss poor skills and piss poor coaching, it happened against Essendon. I havent thought it before but now im sure, Ratten has to go. Losing like this, not even providing a contest is unforgivable. How many forward 50 entries did we have in that 3rd qtr without a score?? it got to the point where we may as well have just kicked it in a and then straight away prepared for the rebound. God it makes me furiuos.

Try and remain positive , it'a all a learning curve . You've had a decent-ish year by your standards , try and learn from some of the better teams over the past few years and you will be better for the experience .

They won't learn anything from your team. Carlton's future is far more brighter than Collingwoods.

Top post. Ratten getting sacked will fix everything.

We were competitive, albeit for only about 2 quarters, but just couldnt get reward...and obviously it feel apart after that.

The reason it kept rebounding and we got no reward is because we still have a 1 dimensional fwd line - if Fev doesnt mark and Betts doesn't crumb it, we have no other options. Lol, we have 1 player who provides a lead inside 50, like that is gonna get any team somewhere worth going.

A new coach isn't the answer, we've only just got one and have improved a fair bit if u actually sit back and have a look at wins/losses.

What we need is more targets up forward. Fev and Betts simply isn't enough. Yarran will take time and is just another crumber. We need a decent CHF to break down that gap between the midfield and Fev. It's the reason we have been so shit on the G this year (apart from when Waite was playing and when we play Richmond lol). The deficiancy in our fwd line probably gets covered up a bit on a small ground like Etihad where you can score quite quickly out of the centre.

Yeah, 7-7 is "bloody woeful". It's 50/50 which is about average to me, you ****stick. Most of us only tipped us to finish 7th-8th so just **** off back to wherever you came from.
