You can't have side-pans for only some kits, they're there as if it were a real kit and they were a part of the actual template, like Puma's template.Side Panels needed to go for the clash, and perhaps white for the home and blue for the away.

But some manufacturers have more than one template. Adidas and ISC are two examples I can think of.
