Any of the 1st year lads tracking well
I liked the spring and hands of Wilkinson, and Crocker seems pretty composed with the ball as well. Thomas has a deft touch on the ball as well as some nice footwork, though that us not news tbh.

Halftime entertainment consisted mainly of a bit of kick to kick, before the dogs of Marley Williams, Paul Ahern, Kayne Turner and a 3 legged blow in all decided to gallop around chasing Woofer Williams' sqeeky ball toy. Special mention for Marley Williams who was the responsible pet owner and cleaned up after his dog.

FYI Jmac mentioned this on the Powershop Player's Podcast that just came out :)

State league affiliate: North Melbourne (VFL)
This weekend: North Melbourne v Port Melbourne - Saturday, March 23, 4pm, Arden Street

Aiming for redemption after he was dumped from the senior side, Paul Ahern was solid without starring in the Roos' 20-point loss to Port Melbourne.

One of 10 AFL-listed Roos to take part, Ahern spent time split between the midfield and in the front half.

Academy product Tarryn Thomas was starved of opportunity in attack in the first half before drawing praise from the coaching staff as a midfielder after the main break.

Rebounding defender Tom Murphy, who played four AFL matches last year, showed promising signs and pushed forward to kick a 70m goal with the aid of a strong breeze.

After a busy summer schedule, Nathan Hrovat and Nick Larkey sat out the contest

I know they were travelling emergencies but what a stupid statement. It's like me saying I need a holiday after coming back from the Christmas break.
