Hrovat kicks 6.3........................

To be honest I didn’t even look at his or Xerri’s stats and I didn’t really see Hrovat mentioned too much in this thread.

Impressive stuff from Hrovat, if he was 10cm taller he’d be an excellent AFL footballer.

Pretty handy days work for Hrovat.
Bloody sucks. An extra 5-6cm and a few kg's to go with those and he would be a very, very capable AFL player. Not sure if he ever will be but I would like to see him get a run in a team that was doing well. Great to see him amongst a couple of others that is playing like an absolute professional.

It's the coach.

Agree in general and I hope with Hrovat as well. Like I said, would love to see him in a team that is going well. Curious as to whether he's ever had the kind of figures in the VFL that he is at the moment, that's a couple of weeks of very, very impressive football in the last few.

7 tackles says it all for Hall - he must come straight back in.

Yep. This part of Hrovat's comments shows me exactly what's happening:

"“I just thought I’d have a bit of a crack."

He was referring to the mark he took - but it seems he's doing this in general. When he gets dropped to the VFL, he's playing natural footy - forgetting about the coach looking over his shoulder and just having a crack. And now he's been our best player in two of his last three matches now?

It's constant negate, negate, negate when he plays seniors under Mr reactive.

We need to see some of these kids playing VFL for the rest of the year.

Start rotating through, Scott, Watson, Hayden and Crocker.

Anything less that 3 games each at AFL is just a waste of a year.

Finals is shot and we need to start blooding the next generation. Unfortunately Scott will go into career saving mode and waste the opportunity.

He has most likely been told he is done, so now he is just doing what he wants rather than trying to please Brad.

Don’t underestimate the lack of development of our players, coming down to Brad not letting them play to their strengths and enjoy footy.

Was a bloody good game of footy to watch. The stats won't show how good Dec Watson was in defence, reckon he has Sherrin printed on his knuckles, would have had 15 spoils for the day. Very vocal and played really well. Xerri played his best game to date, imo. Was clunking everything and more mobile than I have seen him before. Kicked nicely. Big Tom was a beast all day, Haydon likewise. Nobody didn't go when it was their turn, and better than that, they all went as hard as they could when they did go.

I reckon Mitch Rodd was there too, just being monitored atm for effects of concussion against the Dees a few weeks ago.
