Best man on the ground according to the radio broadcast was some young bloke by the name of Mitch Hibberd, playing as a hard inside midfielder and dominating, wonder if David Loader and Gavin Brown remember him? Their half back or back pocket! Hopeless coaches!
Really feel sorry for him had Shaw been at North as head coach a few years early Hibberd would be still there.
Maybe with this so called review we hope to see the last of the Tripe S - Scott Simpleton Squad with Loader gone and maybe Brown no longer at North

It's time this club got ruthless and start making hard decisions we are a club in the number 1 football code in Australia we are North Melbourne not world vision or the Salvos and if that's means upsetting others so be it.
Then the number 1 Agenda is the 5th the 6th and 7th Premiership and if people don't like that style of thinking .
THEN FU:K OFF
and leave this club NOW!

Watched the Williamstown game yesterday and Hibberd killed it. As a centre square midfielder he actually plays very similar to Patty Cripps. Strong, always gets his arms free, tackles well and just hunts the footy.

Considering the lack of depth in the draft it wouldn’t be a bad idea to rookie list him. I know some people inside the club weren’t happy he was delisted.

GC would be mad not to take him with a late pick

Bior Malual is a very exciting talent. 23 year old forward for the Bees. Would make sense as a rookie pick-up if we traded Wood and expected Zurhaar and Thomas to play more midfield.

Keep saying it, he is the embodiment of a professional athlete. Like Rocky, does a mountain of work away tucked away in his own time.

Give him another chance North. He already had a tank - and now he IS one.

I'm telling you, if we had 44 blokes putting the time and effort into their conditioning that Mitch does we'd be premiers.

It'll only be a lack of outright talent (maybe spatial awareness or disposal) that should stop him. He has everything else.

100% agree. Both Hibberd and Mountford were the ultimate professionals. Dec had a few more short comings with his height but there is no reason why Hibberd shouldn’t get a 2nd chance and strive.
