I thought Evans was the one who really showed something interesting.
Yeah he's looked good as well. But Jarvis really struggled as a forward last year so it's interesting to see him back there and kicking goals.

One hopes by the second year they do show something, the VFL I saw last year, (not much) Jarvis looked a fair way away. ... but Evans looks good in y1, not sure what his readiness is like on the metrics they measure but he looked good. We have 'found' (as they say) Simpson , be nice to see a couple of other sausages pop up and we put a face to them. Basically I have a strong confidence we will find a way to have a strong support group of mids, not sure if we have a future gun ... I guess we were hoping NC to be that... his highlights were not that high imo...but it really just depends on what the decided to show.

Great to see Stefan back - and surprising- I thought ruptured Achilles was 12 months, back in 6 is very quick. He looks to be moving unimpeded, with impressive lateral movement. In the vision his handballing and kicking techniques looks very awkward but didn’t appear to make an error. Also noticed Tarca and Brownless, so we’re getting some back from injury.

Good to see that Cocky got through another full game. Seeing Freddie and Frankie (albeit briefly) is a slight relief given their non selection for AFL.

Random question, why does Steven wear #72 in the scratch matches?

I know we're wearing our VFL tops, so is it as simple as not having a #9 Bankers guernsey available?

Re: Stephan - he can bounce the ball while running.... that to me was the best part.

Josh Jenkins named emergency last game, looked better in these highlights. May get a run soon. Dahls first hit out in nearly 5 weeks.

Nice piece of play by Evans right at the start.

Gr8 to see some vision, encouraging efforts from quite a few younger players as well.
