(* based on JJ comments - can be excused).

Good to see Fog continuing to build his form in the middle and up forward. Another call out for Evans by another player - very good signs.

Intrigued about the absences - appears Fort and Kreuger didn’t play. Also haven’t seen any mention or vision of Parsons for some time - wonder what the story is.

Simon Lloyd on GFC site mentioned Kreuger heading back to Melb for arthroscope to be ready for pre-season.

Quinton Narkle has continued to build while Jordan Clark was the pick of the Cats.

No surprise Clark player well in his natural position in defence.

Looks do much better there. His strong contested intercept marking is a real feature of his game and it goes away when he’s gorced out of position to a wing.

Should be our quarterback from next year

Tbh I reckon all players would have their eyes closed at the point of taking a contested mark.

Of course as Bombers highlights (only) hard to get a good read on potential for us. Having said that looks like our defenders have a bit to work on. Some of the younger lads looked pretty gassed in much of the vision (Taheny caught my eye a bit in that regard) - looked like a warm day and it’s getting to end of inaugural season for 1st years, so understandable I guess.

Hasn't gone home yet - Mitch Cleary reported last week he would stay up there for at least one more scratch match

Based on the following, I'm thinking the AFL wants as many clubs as possible to retain their VFL teams & surely this decision has to help with that

The ECFL ..? the risk is so many changes happening slightly out control that the whole thing can let go.. if all the East Coast clubs participate thats one issue sort of locked away
