It looks like AFL clubs are keen to have curtain raisers before AFL matches. As good as it sounds i assume it will mostly be reserves teams of Collingwood and Essendon that probably get to play at the G.
The main concern in discussions is time between when AFL and VFL matches start and finnish and ground management.
Anyway, as for my opinion, i'm not sure if this is a win for the VFL or just the AFL trying to improve match day experience at the cost of the VFL
