Great effort, especially after being so disappointing last year. Do we think any of the players who ran out today will play eg Markov, Graham as the seniors have the week off?
I think Graham would. Needs all the game time he can get. Assuming he's pulled up ok.

would be playing every senior listed player eligible

in: graham, broad, markov, townsend
Yeah I tend to agree. All 4 I'm pretty sure will play the first final but along with Castagna are the players that might be replaced for Caddy, so a good showing in the ressies will help there cause. Will Conca, Hampson and Griffiths be able to play as they haven't played 6 games to qualify?

Not sure Graham has played 6 in the vfl. Didn't know there was a minimum to qualify.

While your AFL side is playing finals you face a slightly different eligibility test for VFL finals. For Richmond this week who didn't run out against St Kilda last week is also eligible.

To give an idea of ins/outs we have two players (Phillips, Smith) who played in our round 14 clash who are ineligible this week and may also look to spell several players as we've done in previous seasons. Fair to say you guys are going to field a lot stronger side on Saturday especially looking at who missed last time around.

Appreciate the info mate.

As I read it, anyone who has played at least six VFL games and no more than 12 AFL games can play. So, Graham, Markov, Broad and Townsend can all play. So can Caddy.

Yep, seems you're correct. Official eligibility list released. Although not listed below Caddy is also eligible under the round 23 exception. Weirdly Short is named below as fully eligible despite having played more than 12 AFL games (16 matches), this week he'd qualify having not played last week anyway.

Yeah, I would have thought Short is only eligible because he didn't play in R23.
