I hope the VFL didn't pay too much for those skanky cheerleaders... right off the streets they were.
Crowd Figure was 8600 odd people which is crap, compare to the WAFL I heard a croed Figure of 21,000 before the start of the game and more people entering the ground.
Dont know which teams are playing in next week SANFL grand final but I expect the crowd figure to be minimim 30000 people and probably more.
VFL Football is crap and not many people fellow it.

I'd argue that the standard of VFL Footy is superior to the SANFL and WAFL. I agree the crowds are poor.

Not sure what the crowd will be for the SANFL GF yet but if it's Port-Centrals then i'd expect perhaps 35,000, if it's centrals-eagles then mid to high 20's.

Standard is same as SANFL or close to it, its just that all VFL players that come over here often say SANFL is more physical, but same speed.
Also VFL gets killed by being aligned to an AFL club...SANFL dont have that and the tradition flows strongly.
Some bloody good players tho running around in VFL that should be in the AFL.

To make matters worse for the VFL, a record O&M grandfinal crowd of 14,811 rocked up for what has been described as one of the most amazing finishes in O&M History. Lavington Panthers winning by a point after the siren. No one could hear the siren over the noise being made by the Myrtleford and Lavington fans.
Maybe they should admit a joint O&M and Goulburn Valley side next year.
The GVFL should get 10,000 plus this next weekend as well
