VFL Player wages

Does anyone have any idea how much a former AFL player would be paid in the VFL, as against what Vic Metro league teams would pay them???

It would have to be pretty decent, with some of the main bush leagues up this way offering more than $1000/game.

Could get way more ca$h playing for a suburban team than in the VFL. Hence, why most players goto local league teams

And why teams like Frankston are going to the wall.
