Good to get a win over Sandy. They've recruited well, expect to see them challenge for top 8 this year.

Players I don't know much about:

Will Madden (Ballarat FL)
Callum McCarty (former Bendigo Pioneer)
Harry Minton-Connell (former Calder Cannon)
DeclanWillmore (former Calder Cannon)
SolomonMcKay (former pioneer, played for us against GC last year)
JackBrown (former charger)

Does anyone know if Harry Minton-Connell is related to Simon Minton-Connell, ex Carlton,Sydney, Hawthorn and Bulldogs full forward?

Son of.

Has played some VFL last year at Port Melbourne I think. No idea what kind of player he is or his quality. He’s certainly not a KPP as he’s only 179cm

If he’s Simons son that makes him the great nephew of Peter Hudson. Hope there is some inherited talent there.

Want to make this just a general praccy thread?

We play Frankston tomorrow at the Hangar and then Box Hill next Sunday

That’s quite the AFL listed back 6. Baldwin, Hayes, Montgomery, Hind, Lord. Especially with Reid/Cox out and likely to fill one of those spots.

Encouraging to see Voss get a few. Looks a chance to be pretty good

Think afl players have this weekend off, so a lot of the vfl list will get a run.
Might do – last year only two players did some match sim and it was because they were coming off injury.

In 2021 every player who wasn't injured and wasn't slated to play in Round 1 played in the VFL practice team the week before.

Yeh pretty sure the only players that play are the ones who want/ need the run because they’re underdone and want a chance to play round 1 - see guelfi and langers.
