Its hard to say. Sometimes they wait until after the practice games, so might not be until feb
They havent even officially announced signings or re-signings yet lol

Doubt club will announce any until just before the Season Starts

I find it annoying and really disappointing that the club doesn't bother giving us more VFL news during the off-season. This is basically all there's been in the last few months: https://www.collingwoodfc.com.au/teams/vfl/latest

If it wasn't for Jen's training reports and the odd snippet from Paul Amy on X we'd have almost no idea on signings and departures.

Sam Glover was the team captain, and a wonderful, long-term servant of the club. He's been gone for months now, but the club has said nothing. That's a terrible effort! Surely someone at the club can put together an article every now and then at this time of the year to keep us informed on player movements?! It doesn't have to be after every signing or departure, but just a summary of recent happenings would do.

Yeah I’m surprised they haven’t mentioned anything since preseason started.
Last preseason I think they did okay. But surely in January

I don't remember where I saw it but did see a Thank you to Sam Glover for his service today.
Also just saw on insta that he and his wife Bella have recently bought a house and are expecting their first baby in January.

Okay, there was that at least! Maybe I'm just old fashioned, but I'd like to see something in an article on the club's website (and lots more updates overall)!!
 
i don’t think I’ve seen the clubs photographer or social media person at training yet but surely wouldn’t be hard.
A stack of players have been signed and some of our players this year is staying - so would be pretty easy to announce

I love the vfl team as much as the afl and Aflw sides- I don’t care if they aren’t afl listed. They are still Collingwood.

Yeah I was chatting to a friend at training about that very thing
It goes against the record for years. He was talked up at the draft. but not to get picked even as a SSP or rookie is very strange.
 
I am liking the selections for the VFL side. There are some massive wholes from senior players leaving and VFL players taking other opportunities. I have a feeling the path from VFL to an AFL list spot is a bit more defined. At one stage McCartin was reported as a hot late developer.

He's a solid boy.
And given we lost Glover, Dean and no De Bolfo we are in need of another key defender
