Livestream/replay:

Team:

Notable Outs: Cottrell, Hill
Notable Ins: Finbar, O'Rourke

I'd expect 4 or 5 AFL players to drop out of this team (3-4 bench, 1 emergency), which means one player will drop from the bench, likely one of Keppel, Stavrou and White.

Interestingly, Charlie isn't named despite being on the extended bench in the seniors. No coverage.

EDIT: Simpson also not named, hence the bench congestion despite the squad being finalised. Perhaps Garlett as the senior emergency?

Looking forward to this. Really enjoyed watching the NB's so far this year and I expect it to get better and better
The better they are ... the better the senior side will be ... at least this year Fraser has some assets to work with.

Hopefully we can find another radio feed of this game. There are just so many guys I'm interested in following. I actually really enjoyed listening to last weeks game. Gave me the Blues fix I needed in the day before the big game (Getting the win certainly helped too). Saying that, VFL coverage desperately needs a revamp, IMO. Not having any coverage at all for some of these games is very disappointing. He need to see or hear - in real time - how our next generation of superstars are performing!

I guess this got moved from PCO? All the Northern Blues news and tweets say Ikon but I've seen 2 different fixtures (including the one on the NB website) which says PCO.
This game and next roung got moved to Princes park because the ground at Preston wasn't suitable. 2 games later in the season will be moved from Princes to Preston.

Hello! This is why I bang on about the sooner a reserve comp is brought back and our seconds fixture is aligned more with seniors the better.
All our AFL day games should have a curtain raiser before it so we can see in real time more of our own players developing in the grade below out firsts.
Night games play the seconds on the same day at ground nearby. Would make so much more sense that the bullshit fixturing we have now that are totally not aligned with AFL teams.

Totally agree. I used to love going to games early to watch the reserves play. It became so ingrained in my football-going experience that even when they stopped playing curtain raisers, my dad and I would still arrive at games over an hour early. It's just staggering that they don't have dedicated weekly TV/Radio coverage considering the quality of some of the blokes running around in these games. Obviously the interest in the reserves isn't all that great, but surely there's still enough interest to warrant some sort of regular and consistent coverage?

How is Werribee travelling? Normally a tough game.
They're 5th on the ladder with a 2-1 record, and coming off a three-point loss against Geelong (9th on the ladder). We're 6th on the ladder with a 2-0 record. Their percentage, however, is 131%, while we're sitting at 102%.
