Corey's lack of progress hurts, but we haven't drafted many pure mids in recent years. I don't think Higgins is one. Drummond might be, but isn't going to be a top-liner even if he makes it. Loading up on small forwards in the past four drafts can't be argued against, and I would say neither can taking the talls we have the past 2-3 years. I am very bullish about CJ, Balta and Miller (outstanding pick at 63) and have a lot of time for Moore, Chol and Garth as well.

We all love Higgins, but if we'd drafted Tim Kelly instead...

Ellis Drummond miles, menadue ,markov Stengel Bolton ,Rioli could all go thru there, I’d hardly be losing sleep over it

Ellis doesn't look like making it, Drummond has had two knee recos (and I mentioned him), Miles is done, Menadue is a wingman/flanker, ditto Markov, Stengle is a small forward with no tank, ditto Bolton. Those two and Rioli are very small. I'm talking centre square mids.

Jack Graham. That's the only one we;ve drafted in recent years we can count on.
