Ottavi on for the first time in ten minutes and runs down someone for a turnover, Boyse plays on, goal. Put him in cotton wool for the draft.

They goal from a stoppage at centre half forward. Pressure on the ball carrier has been poor. Defenders having a hard time of it ATM. Clearance from us leads to a Begley gather and a goal to retake the lead. 44-43.

Good mark on the wing to Merrett, quick play on leads to a nice snap from Hind. 50-43 half time.

They had the play for much of that quarter and for a couple horrible misses (one under no pressure at the top of the square) they'd be in front.

A couple really good late goals to us though, and we go in with a 7 point lead at half time.

Second quarter was the opposite of the first. Williamstown was all over us and then we kicked two late ones and now the score flatters us.

I guess we saw one of the disadvantages of being an AFL side in this comp. Ottavi was off the ground for probably 50% of that quarter.

Myers still best on for us. His distribution has been seriously good.

Ridley has been rock solid in defence.

Hocking and Parish have been god too.

Brown been solid.

Kind of hard to work out much else. Redman has flashed in and out of the match. Begley has been clean and has two goals.

Francis has been less than inspiring (to put it kindly). Some dodgy efforts.

Became more of a slog in that quarter.
