We were kicking into a strong northerly breeze that quarter towards the Leisure Centre end so to kick 4 goals to 1 (conceded one right on the siren) was a pretty good start. Hopefully scoring can pick up this quarter with the wind.

Zerk-Thatcher, Begley & Hartley all been very solid so far. I don’t think Zerk-Thatcher is that far away.

Worsfold and a large contingent of the playing group from yesterday are here watching/supporting.

Half Time and we lead (predictably) 9.5.59 to 1.5.11 ... 5 goal to 0 quarter with the wind.

Didn’t see Zerk-Thatcher emerge from rooms after coming off with a possible hand injury. Kobe Mutch also hobbling off at Half Time and looks a bit restricted with some sort of knee/leg injury. Hopefully nothing too bad for either.

Myers was very solid that quarter and in particular a beautiful 60m left footer to the goal square to hit Baguley on the chest. I am liking the games of Begley & Hartley too. Will Snelling would be VERY close to a senior game very soon. He is a very clever player.

Was enjoying Zerk-Thatcher’s game too before going off.
