Waybill back pocket  oh no what are they thinking :D

Another strong team, if we took it to the VFL finals we'd win the flag.

He'll still kick 3 or 4 goals from there. ;)

Strong side named again good to see Delaney named. Might still need to pass tests to play though from his concussion. He really needs to play the year out for a chance to stay on the rookie list.
Hopefully another win which would really to stay in the 8.
Could have a couple of the VFL listed players on the main or rookie lists next year. They will be wanting to keep up form.
It's so imprortant to have a strong VFL team for the afl team. The success Geelong has had in 1 Comp has generally mirrored the other. Great development for the players to be winning and playing in a strong team. Having Selwood and Clark in there im sure is great also for the younger players.

HS on a half-back - in-ter-est-ing...

Started there early days in his career, think his first 2 years were across HB.

Liking the fact we are playing Scooter across HB, we need another good reader of the play like Corey did for us in 2011 and Kelly last year. We are in dire need of more midfield/defensive swingman.

wonder what the odds are for a Cats win... good team on paper again.

Menegola late exclusion, so may even the competition.

After a great win last night, we could have a great weekend here with the VFL team looking serious quality on paper.

Is there any chance of a live stream or it is not being televised in any capacity?

I noticed the Bulldogs have pulled Hamling given the injury to Morris and the 5 day break between their VFL game and next Friday. Would be interested to know from this afternoon's game if that happens to anyone. You'd expect if they play today they won't play next Friday.

Or we might see someone play only a half. Lang would be a prime candidate.

If we do that with anyone it will be be lang.i think they will want to 'ease' scooter in at the bombers afl game not next week. Still the 22 that played last night plus smith and henderson might be enough of a squad to pick from next week.

The Waybill plays wherever he likes. He kicked 4 last week, this week perhaps he wants to stop 4 and spoil everything in sight.

The coaches understand the psychologically destructive potential of Waybill. Put him in the back pocket and watch the entire Essendon forward line become so preoccupied with stopping him drifting forward and kicking 10 that they themselves forget to kick any goals.

I think they've put him back to take speccies on the goal line all day, keep the score down.
Obviously the Bombers will be kept scoreless bar a couple of rushed behinds

They could do. You think they'd bring Lang in next week with the other changes in the works as well?

Might also be a case of having a player available in case someone pulls up sore during the week or falls ill.
