However there are several other players who could seize an opening next week - Cavarra, Weightman, Butler, Khamis, Garcia. Even Hayes and Roarke ... but it's not a great sign if we need them in the seniors. I'm hoping the younger ones have gone past them by now.

True but we don’t seem to want to bring guys into to play in the middle. I think his speed and toughness would be handy in the seniors but where to play him? Forward seems to be the only spots open
