Thought everybody, even the customary whipping boys (Ryan and Harry D), showed a bit today, albeit against poor opposition.

Parker, West, Steene, Dean, and Hayes were the pick of the bunch.

Rod Ali is a superb mover. Looked a little uninvolved at times. But that's to be expected, I reckon. There is obvious potential there, tho we are well stocked for back flankers...

West hobbling a bit at the end there. Hope this foot thing not plaguing him.

Want to see this bloke out on the G next week!!
He looked foot/ankle was hurt in 3rd Qtr when he was leading for the Ball

Looked Sore Afterwards

Coming off the ground nothing looked bad

I didn't see the whole game, but am wondering why Jiath changed numbers. Was his jumper ripped at some stage? It was tough enough telling him and Ali apart when they wore 19 and 81, even tougher when it was 80 and 81!

Yeah. QT he changed jumpers. Top of it was ripped after he got in some biff

Saw Josh Browne after the game. Said west was fine. Bit of management and iced him up
Jen I have some spies at the VFL, can you please confirm that yourself and some other Pies supporters changed ends you were watching the game based on what end our forwards were kicking? That is some dedication.

We sure did

Was involved in three separate stoushes that I saw. One was initiated by an opposition player; the other two were when TJ took exception to how teammates were dealt with -- one particularly heavy tackle on Parker, where I was glad he remonstrated. I dont mind this part of his game, but he needs to take care not to be too easily baited.
