Essendon meet Preston at Windy Hill in their second broadcast game of the year, in what poses to be very important for the men in Blue. Each team are likely to add a state league midfielder to their ranks this week, SOS electing to take the WAFL's Josh Deluca and his mate Dodododoro taking Will Snelling from the SANFL. As far as form goes, Essendon have lost two of their last 5 games, same with Preston. Essendon have won 4 of the last 5 encounters between the two clubs.

Essendon are coming off a tight loss at the hands of ladder leaders and flag favourites Richmond, going down by 3 points. Dylan Clarke was best afield for the Dons with 26 disposals in a good combination with David Myers, who had 25, whilst small forward Irving Mosquito lit up the turf with a couple of scintillating runs and 2 goals playing as a small forward.

Preston had a disappointing 11 point loss to mid table Sandringham, only kicking 3 goals in the second half after a strong start to the game. Former Swan Sam Fisher was impressive with 26 touches, whilst young key forward Patrick Kerr kicked 3 goals to go along with his 6 the previous week.

They've named their entire extended bench whereas we've named 6 of 8, so I think we lose D Clarke, Baguley and Mosquito. I think they lose Dow, Lang, Schumacher, Fasolo and Kerr. I think McKenna replaces Clarke in the middle, Younan for Baguley and Buddha for Mozzie, which leaves Heppell, Tynan, Berry and Connellan as your bench rotations with Bowman as 23P

I half expect Mozzie to be held over for us so he gets a two week rest if there are no late changes. They lose Lang, Fasolo, Dow and Setterfield.

Jake Long - Michael Hartley - Matthew Dea
Martin Gleeson - Brandon Zerk-Thatcher - Jordan Ridley
Tom Jok - David Myers - Ray Connellan
Jordan Houlahan - Edyn Sibbald - Brayden Ham
Danny Younan - Mitchell Brown - Heath Hocking
Zachary Clarke - Trent Mynott - Mingma Snelling

Wilson Berry - Aaron Heppell - Liam McKenna - Josh Tynan
Riley Bowman

Berry in the defense rotation, Tynan in the forward and the other two in the middle with Bowman to split between ruck and forward.

That's a strong team all round, Look forward to seeing Snelling, Mo22ie, Mynott and Zerk, with a fair interest in Bowman again.
It's a pity Gown is still out.

Wilson Berry got named in the young guns (round 2) game which is played this w/e so doubtful he plays 2 games this weekend.
Maybe Landt instead?

Jordan Ridley streaming through the centre into forward fifty and decides to pass off ending in our first goal. Awesome play from Ridley.
