I think there’d be a lot ahead of him in seniors for midfield time.

Allan, Beau, De Goey when fit, Mitchell when fit, De Mattia… if we take a mid it would have to be on a best available basis. Needs would be in key defence.

WA reporting we are after josh browne.
Also Tom Morris saying we will take key forward archer may with our 1st pick if available.
So imagine those two we will take if we have 2 picks

When Maynard is back, we only really need two of Frampton, Moore and Howe, so we can afford one injury out of the 4 - but any more and it'll have to be Dean. Bruzzy will swing between playing taller or smaller depending on whether we have 2 or 3 of those available.

Ryan was good, playing with a lot more confidence, could get a game while Maynard is missing. HDM had 18 kicks and I don't think he looked before any of them.

Demattia moving into the midfield has led to 27,28 and 31 touches in his last 3 games. Would be close to leading our tackle and inside 50 count would have thought as well.

Promising signs

great to see him finding the ball, but does his disposals have any hurt factor?
maybe that will come in time

the writing was on the wall early in the 2nd qtr when we missed 2 set shots from 10-15 out from basically directly in front ( one being from West ), and they ran the ball down to goal from the kickout.
