I don't understand why they have been playing him at all. They rested him before the Freo game. If the foot wasn't 100% right then they should have kept on resting him.Been told that West's foot is flaring up again today. They'll need to rest him for a few weeks. Apparantely its not healing while they keep playing him.
It's just how they manage plantar fasciitis if it's not too severe. Sometimes it goes away and sometimes it gets worse. It's the same when they rest it, sometimes it comes straight back when they up the loads.I don't understand why they have been playing him at all. They rested him before the Freo game. Why are we playing kids whose bodies are just getting accustomed to the stresses of professional sport when they are lame. Makes absolutely no sense to me.
Yes but I would tend to be cautious with young kids just coming in to an elite program. Their bodies are under all kinds of new stresses and we should prioritise health over everything else so early in their careers. It's just how they manage plantar fasciitis if it's not too severe. If you're going to play plantar fasciitis cautiously to get rid of it completely, it's a season gone.Yes but I would tend to be cautious with young kids just coming in to an elite program. He's a chf. He's going to play through worse than what has probably been a mild case of plantar fasciitis. And if Jen is right and they're set to give him a break they probably are playing it cautiously. Then it's a season gone,
I'm not sure if its something they are gonna do, but it's something his dad thinks needs to happen, so we'll see this weekend. He's a chf. Yeah I don't get the amount our decisions are questioned. Managing them beautifully.I'm not sure if its something they are gonna do, but it's something his dad thinks needs to happen, so we'll see this weekend.
Wade usually gets these things right, they won't put him out there if its something they don't think is manageable; but if it becomes worse they may not have a choice.
Because of injuries we fielded 8 AFL listed players to their 16.The game was a reality check in list depth.....CFC's depth similar to mining bauxite in Weipa, NM's chasing gold in Mount Isa!
Yes, their injury list isn't as deep as CFC's but you look at the names, Duursma, George, Phillips, Goad and I can go on, CFC can't compete with that if we tried.......Reality is they have been a shambles for a while but that doesn't detract from there list depth....Like the suns, multiple years of draft talent.....Just need a leader to lead the way.Because of injuries we fielded 8 AFL listed players to their 16.
We’ve been very competitive in the VFL this season.
HDM and Ryan were both very good. That’s all that matters.
We’ve seen how the doubters of Allan have been silenced- consecutive games makes a huge difference to development, just as we’ve seen with Long, Sully, Frampton etc.Totally agree. We badly a need a better back up than Dean if Moore, Frampton or Howe cop an injury. Even more so now with Maynard out.
