Where is Shaun Pollard and Neil Winterton from Frankston. Pollard was last years VFL full back of the year and winterton was in the back pocket of the yeam of the year and there form this year has been supurb.
Absolute disdrace!!! Pollard is the best full back in the comp should be playing AFL!

I was listening like I always do to the VFL hour and it was mentioned that thanks to the Herald Sun, ADMISSION WILL BE FREE for the state game.

It is also my understanding the teams will be playing for the Herald Sun Cup.

Lets hope it is a nice day and get as many people as we can to the game.

Great to see Alistair Neville (Coburg) named in the squad.

He's been BOG in 3 of 6 games played thus far, and voted in 2 others. How the Tigers overlooked him after he tied with Jake King for the Coburg B&F last year is astounding, given how ordinary their list is.

Hope he goes well and some club recruiter with some brains finally gives him the chance he deserves.

Sadly for Al, he is not blessed with a lot of pace.

Bah... that same trophy is played for between the VFL and the SANFL in Melbourne! We should do away with sponsored trophies, not to say that their sponsorship shouldn't be acknowledged of course.

Its crap... there should be a champions presence on the trophies played for in these games. I still think the SANFL/VFL games should be played for the Robran & Cook Trophy and the WAFL/VFL game for the Michael & Swan Trophy. Those are just names I thought of first.

SA & WA already have the Haydn Bunton Trophy.
