He’s been playing back, how hard is that to understandCos we are looking for a marking option to help support hawkins.
and krueger ranked higher in the bests then close anyway.
Kreuger didn't feature in the best players in the first practice match, then got 3rd best as a rebounding KPD in the second, and now we want to bring him into the side to play forward on debut? Can you people honestly not see what's wrong with that?
So he plays foward for two years (was very close to sélection a couple of times but got injured at crucial times) is sent to the backline this year because we have Cameron, Sav, Rohan and Hawkins vying for marking foward spots and somehow you think he can’t play down forward anymore cos of two practise games in defence. He’s been playing back, how hard is that to understand
If he was so good as a forward he would’ve already played senior footy.
This post below sums it up perfectly
Also by your theory Zuthrie should be in this week as he was named before both of them
Kreuger ain't playing a game for the seniors before he's delisted, best get used to that idea
And I’ll point out that before round one we only had Hawkins and Rohan as forwards yet he still trained and played the practice matches as a key back.So he plays foward for two years (was very close to sélection a couple of times but got injured at crucial times) is sent to the backline this year because we have Cameron, Sav, Rohan and Hawkins vying for marking foward spots and somehow you think he can’t play down forward anymore cos of two practise games in defence.
no offence, but that is ridiculous.
Krueger played in defence in his first year also, or at least he'd want to have been at he went goalless in 8 of his 14 VFL matches - so that alone doesn't really act as a ringing endorsement for his inclusion as a forwardSo he plays foward for two years (was very close to sélection a couple of times but got injured at crucial times) is sent to the backline this year because we have Cameron, Sav, Rohan and Hawkins vying for marking foward spots and somehow you think he can’t play down forward anymore cos of two practise games in defence.

yes he played both ends of the ground.Krueger played in defence in his first year also, or at least he'd want to have been at he went goalless in 8 of his 14 VFL matches - so that alone doesn't really act as a ringing endorsement for his inclusion as a forward
And not sure how many scratch matches he actually played last year - he had a delayed start to the season due a knee injury over the preseason, and he then made an early return to Vic from the Gold Coast after battling knee soreness up there
And he did not play forward in every game he has played forward and back every year so many no f-ck allNope
He did kick 6 once, and then in his remaining 13 games that year he kicked a combined total of 7 goals
And he did not play forward in every game he has played forward and back every year so many no f-ck all
He also couldn’t even get drafted in his draft year as a forward.Yep
In his first year it would have been about development, expanding his knowledge and role
Playing him in defence year though, especially when we have Cameron & Ratugolea injured, and Rohan suspended (something that had to be a consideration prior to our VFL match on Saturday), looks to be a more deliberate option this year, and where the club may deem his best chance of a future at the club be
He also couldn’t even get drafted in his draft year as a forward.
Carlton received pick No.43 from Geelong in exchange for its access to SANFL forward Nathan Kreuger (pre-listed state-league player).Didn't we do some sort of weird trade for him with Carlton?
We must have rated him in some capacity to do that.
I’m with you. Not sure why there is such a push for close. I thought he showed next to nothing in his games last year, and that was in a team that was firing on all cylinders.Close was quite slow for a small foward. Had zero x factor. Too small. He won’t make it. Don’t confuse endeavour with talent.
got 6.Didn't he kick 8 in a VFL game in 2019
Sat Ess vs Sandy sat Frank vs Cob Sun Hawks vs Bullants that's itEaster bye - don't think any teams are playing this weekend
