Big milestone for Tassie to sign their first player! How good that he's also a Tasmanian junior. I remember when we signed our first player (Charlie Dixon) and our small fanbase started getting excited about what it could mean. You guys even have some AFL highlights videos you can watch and discuss the role he may end up playing for the Devils in the future:

It’s been a great idea - although I feel they would have a fair idea already whom they want from the state as they have had eyes on them all year whether they have played in either of the premier leagues or in the u18 state team. Robbie Fox looks like he is a signing for next year now too

so Darebin has to fly for away games?

I believe Richmond are looking to do exactly that.

Great get to sign Nath Sulzberger, incredibly unlucky to miss being drafted but still young enough to show his wares. Think he has enough tools to be a servicable role player at the next level so expecting him to become a good to very good player at VFL level for the Devils.

I heard a radio interview (last year now), that North Hobart was preferred over Bellerive..... think it was on SEN Tassie???

Surely they will play some games at Bellerive against the standalone AFL reserve teams once it becomes available after all the cricket is finished.

It would look bizarre if the Devils VFL team is playing at North Hobart and Clarence is playing at Bellerive.

I'm certainly not going to argue with you on that..... it's annoying me now that I can't remember all the details etc
