Jess Hosking not with her sister is interesting.

Doing a quick search Tayla Harris, Hardiman, Downie or Bri Davey (although her sister Paris is listed for Collingwood...) and Jess Hosking are not listed in any VFLW team.

Of note for us though is Chloe Dalton who won gold at the Rio olympics in Rugby 7s. Shes code hopping to footy and it looks like we'll be recruiting her for next season of the AFLW.

Carlton recruit Chloe Dalton won gold at Rio, now she wants to play AFLW in 2019

OLYMPIC Rugby gold medallist Chloe Dalton will play VFLW for Carlton this season with a view to joining the Blues’ AFLW side for 2019.

The 24-year-old claimed gold with the Australian Rugby Sevens side in Rio in 2016 and was named player’s player of the year last season.

The multiskilled Dalton — she also played WNBL for Sydney Flames from 2012 to 2014 — took a break from rugby at the end of last season and while she’d been watching the AFLW, former Carlton recruiter Graham Burgen had also been watching her and invited her to trial at Ikon Park.

She will be joined at the Blues by her former Rugby Sevens teammate Brooke Walker, who was a travelling emergency at the Rio Games.

“I was tossing up between a couple of different clubs, but decided to go with Carlton after seeing what a great club it was,” Dalton said.

Will be interesting to see if she pops up elsewhere - maybe it’s got something to do with her recovery.

No Hardiman, Downey or Harris.

Harris has probably switched her attention to boxing, and Downie at 33 might’ve either retired or is conserving her body for one last season.

A bit concerned that Chloe Dalton (not due to be born for another 2 days) & Brooke Walker (2 & a bit weeks old) will be quite ready to play at this level.

Looks like there was only 1 goal in the last quarter.

Goals 3 D Vescio, 2 C Hardeman, 1 S Hosking, S Li, C Bromage, N Plane

I doubt there will be coverage of any matches this season.

Maybe some radio coverage on RSN or something, but it is unlikely for the majority of games. Gotta rely on the VFL/VFLW app or the sportstg match centre. Or twitter.

I thought I read something about coverage a while back. Maybe that was for all our VFL matches.
