Talking to myself in here now. But for posterity's sake
Alanna Barba and Renee Tierney's kangaroo side have triumphed over Mia-Rae Clifford and Courtney Ugle's bulldogs by 20 points.
The bulldogs tore down an at one stage 32 point lead to level the scores by 3 quarter time. However North used the break to regroup and pushed away again.
The pups motto for the year was don't die like an octopus, die like a hammerhead and they certainly fought it out right to the siren.
The kangaroos drew inspiration from their coach having had a flat tyre before a match, with a metaphor about overcoming (flat tyre) setbacks. They seemed to get out the spare at 3qtr.
Alana Barba was in the bests for the premiers and kicked a goal the commentators spoke about for the rest of the game. She still comes across as an absolute legend. The type that you need at a club, heart and soul. Norf are lucky to have her.
