North Melbourne's VFLW affiliate Melbourne University begin their season hosting Geelong at Main Oval, Melb Uni.

This year the side will be wearing the North Melbourne jumper as their Alternate jumper and playing a handful of games at Arden Street.

North AFLW coach Scott Gowans will again take charge of the VFLW teams.

Happy Mother's Day wish all the mums the best for today.
Plus just quietly North Melbourne seem to get a lot Mother's Day homes games on this day but that's for another forum at a later date.
But would have been nice to play women's football game before the AFL today as a curtain raiser but hay if we had an Egotistical Football Terrorist as president with different colour stripes to ours or a club with Red and black in it then we would have a curtain raiser today.

I'm glad this has got a thread. Strangely the club website doesn't even have the fixture up anywhere, a pretty poor oversight I reckon. Anyway I hope the girls have a win.
