Just to let all know, Collingwood and the yarra council are holding a community day at Vic Park on December the 4th. Showing off the multi-million dollar renovations.

Went there today for a BBQ. Very nice.

Still a lot of work to do before it's finished though, don't know why they're having a community day there now.

The PDF file accessible from our website suggests that $7.2m has "created a major recreation space for us to enjoy"

Typical council flub speak.

Not sure that it's taken this much money to get it to where it's currently at - a half finished demolition project and bomb site - but hopefully they eventually complete it and it continues to be a community based ground where the Collingwood Football Club plays out of - that our champions play there at the start and end of their careers, or coming back from injury.

I can't believe the council suggests they have created the space though.

However, I am very happy of the indigenous involvement in this project, because it will continue to eradicate the curse put on us all those years ago.
