Wade Seccombe would be the leading candidate for 'Worst drop catch of the year' .
He dropped a sitter off Elliott when Elliott was in the mid-40's.

Just saw that on Sports Tonight, absolute classic!!

Agree- as a Queenslander, that is embarassing. VICS should score 350 in the first innings- with our batting struggling, you guys should knock us over for less than that for sure.

2-0 Vics is highly likely.

Not likely.

When the next wicket falls, we have Lewis, McGain and Inness. The latter two average 7 between them.

Be fair, McDonald batted superbly in the last match.

Nick Jewell is a battler. I for one am glad that our state is now giving promising kids a chance rather than playing battlers like South Australia does.

McDonald isn't going to come off every time, but in a few years, he will be all the better for it.

He didn't bat superbly. He made runs in the second innings, but that's the first time hes made runs in either form of the game this season.

However, I do agree he is young, and should be stuck with. I mean, really, the only other option is probably Warren Ayres...

I'm hoping for big things from Mossy and Roach this morning. They're both good batsmen, and should be aiming for a century partnership at least.

6/299

Moss and Roach have added 34 at a run a minute this morning.

Excellent start, let's hope this aggression (against very defensive bowling) will pay off.

50 up for Moss.

This guy is developing an imposing record, with the bat and the ball. Wonder how league the NSW mafia can ignore him.

Yeppers - Moss is on fire, moved onto 80* (with a few sixes) and the score 6/335.

No need to worry about the NSW Mafia - Moss is putting on a show and audition for Trevor Hohns who is watching this game.

I'm sure Moss is one name that wouldn't have been in his notebook or list or prospects (until now)

I hope his name would have been listed before now, given his averages (36 with the bat, 26 with the ball).

Those averages would get you a game in any state squad as either a batsman or bowler.

And just as we say that, Moss gets out.

Ran down the wicket and got an under edge to the keeper.

Cannot believe that Mathew Inness has come in at 9. Has Mick Lewis forgotten his bat?

You have got to be bloody kidding me! I ignore my own words from yesterday, log onto Baggygreen.com and Moss goes out straight away! Vics are 7/340.

I always log on and a wicket falls straight away. I reckon I've logged on within 5 minutes of all 7 wickets!

Ah, Cricinfo screwed up. Lewis did come in at 9, thankfully.

Lewis is in at no. 9

Yeah, another Cricinfo stuff up. In the one-day game last week they had Harwood in at 3. Took 4-5 overs before they realised it was Hodge.

Excellent session for the mighty Vics.

Scored 106 in the session, for the loss of only one wicket.

Hopefully Mick Lewis can stick around with Roach for an hour after lunch to get the score over 400.

Given the overcast weather, might be nice having a bowl this afternoon.

J. Arnberger - 35
B. Hodge - 42

Mossy

Jon Moss is actually from NSW... this increases his chances of selcection ten-fold.

He's perfroming well in both forms of the game as well. Hopefully he'll get a gig in the Aus A side.
