This may sound stupid when referring to a forward but it isn't just about kicking goals for Tyrone. The thing I hate about statistics is that manner in which the statistic was gained. A goal for example, if its a handball over the top and a kick on the goal line which I have seen him kick many a times then I don't see it as he worked well. Vickery needs to be leading hard all game, he doesn't have the excuse of being a part time ruck relief, he is our Full Forward and he needs to start acting like one. Lead hard, present and stick out the dukes and mark the ball. Vickery is a lovely set shot for goal, thing is about set shots is you don't kick them unless you mark the ball. But yeah I do hope he kicks a bag this weekend lol

Unfortunately the Tigers didn't have 22 1st round picks in the last 3 years, otherwise we could have had a much better line up of KPP.

I agree with this in the most part. Yet I would also like to see Vickery move away from Jack when he leads. As I have noticed the last couple of seasons that TV tends to follow the ball all the time. So he tends to get in the way at times, & also brings his man into the contest with Jack trying to lead. Where this tends to make life more difficult for our other forward structure. Maybe this might be also a issue with our coaching dept.

Why would we do that. If Hampson is out of form & not pulling his weight, then fair enough. On his game against Gold Coast, I thought he was one of the better players on the night.

This is my number one pet peeve with our forwardline. They have no idea how to make space. The coaching staff has a lot to answer for.

I want the other Mark Williams to go the vfl side of things, Daly back to fwds coach and Vossy in to do the mids.

Congratulations Ben griffiths! You just set yourself a great performance building block! There were a few errors that if we remove and what not but they way you presented at 80-100 metres out and took some strong contested marks really warmed my heart! Here's hoping you use this block to comment your name on the team sheet at centre half forward!
As for you Tyrone same goes! A few things to add and remove but I hope you continue the improvement you had from this game

If he did it week after week he would end up with 100 goals for the year. Some people are very harsh judges of Ty. Great game from griffo as well not to mention astbury. Those 3 are key to how far we go this year and beyond.

When Maric comes back I would rather griffiths plays second ruck and Hampson out of the team. I think Hampson is a decent first ruck but griffiths gives more around the ground and has more scope for improvement too. I don't think Hampson is suited as a forward so if he isn't main ruck he doesn't have a lot of strings to his bow.
